This has a good chance to be the wettest week of the summer so far and, with drought expanding and intensifying, we need it. While it won’t rain all the time, there’s at least the chance of showers and storms daily through Friday — some of them will probably be heavy and could even cause some flooding. Conveniently, the pattern looks to shift to a drier one in time for the weekend.
Today (Monday): Clouds dominate with increasing chances for showers and storms, especially during the afternoon. Some could produce downpours and even some pockets of flooding in poor drainage areas.
