A gunman strolled up to a stranger and shot him in the buttocks on a Bronx street this week, disturbing new video shows.
Surveillance footage released by police early Thursday shows the suspect walking from the street onto the sidewalk at Prospect Avenue and East 165th Street in Foxhurst minutes before 5 a.m. Wednesday.
He yelled, “Yo!” before firing a single shot, striking a 36-year-old man in the behind, cops said.
The muzzle flash can be seen in the video.
The suspect fled north on Rev. James A. Polite Avenue toward East 167th Street, cops said.
The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical Center in stable condition.
